Glyn Rees & Son is a long established, privately owned family business now run by the fifth generation of the Rees family.
The qualities that have made our business so well trusted and respected over the years have been passed on down the generations. We are proud of our heritage and traditions but also move with the times.

Over the years, and largely due to personal recommendations, the business has now grown to cover a large area of Mid Wales. As well as our main office in Dinas Mawddwy, we also have local offices in Dolgellau and Barmouth, covering Machynlleth and the surrounding valleys, Aberdyfi, Fairbourne, Tywyn and along the coast to Harlech.
Over the many years in business we have repatriated loved ones from all corners of the world, attending to all the relevant paperwork, dealing with the appropriate authorities, Coroner’s etc. Once returned to a UK Airport, your loved one is conveyed to our Chapel of Rest, where funeral arrangements can be carried out in the normal way.

Given the privilege to act on your behalf during your time of grief, you will be personally dealt with by either Dilwyn or Dylan Rees or a member of their professional staff, who will attend to all your needs and will give utmost attention to all your requirements.
Every funeral is different and personal to each family and will be happy to advise or guide you through what can be an emotionally difficult time. We aim to make the process as smooth and orderly as possible.
Glyn Rees & Son offers a 24hr call out service and can repatriate from all over the United Kingdom.

As part of the NAFD’s Code of Practice and Rules, Glyn Rees & Son is bound to comply with the Funeral Arbitration Scheme – an independent Conciliation in the unlikley event they are not satisfied with the funeral of their loved one.
