The chapel of rest
We have a small and private Chapel of Rest at our Dinas Mawddwy address.
Here you can come to say your final farewells to your loved one, if you would like to bring specific music to be played during your visit please ask and we can arrange this for you. We also have a viewing room at our Dolgellau office, this can be arranged by request..
A private farewell
It will be completely up to you, and any member of your family, whether you want to visit the chapel of rest or not. We are more than happy to give you the support and advice when deciding whether to arrange a visit. Many people choose to visit their loved one so that they can pay their respects and help with the grieving process, but some people prefer not to; there is no right or wrong decision.
Support when you need it
Visiting someone in our chapel of rest can be a difficult and emotional experience, but you won’t have to go through it alone. We are more than happy to accompany you during your visit and stay with you for as long as you like.
